windracer4x4, i came across your adventures in swapping a 1grfe into your 92 4x4. congratulations (late i know) on your success! i just picked up a blown motor from a colleague for my own "interesting" swap. i was wondering, would you mind terribly sharing with me how you solved your drive-by-wire issue? what did you do to your pedal or really what was your solution? i'm going to be fabbing up motor mounts and trans mounts in the coming week for my project. since i'm quite familiar with carb setups i am already considering by-passing efi and going with a custom intake mani with triple down draught weber carbs w/ a programmable ignition through one of my sponsors. but if i could i'd love to be able to run the full harness and ecu.
also, did you have to worry about issues regarding a flashed key to work with the ecu from the donor car or is that only for newer models such as the xrunner, etc...?
