    Hello all, I am a "newby" to this forum and I hope to get some help from you all. Last night I was driving home and suddenly the engine simply quit! I still have power at the dash and all locks, windows, etc.... still work fine. The dash shows the battery symbol..... Is this the starter or alternator? Oh yeah, it's a 90 runner, 6 cylinder How do I test the components?
