The web cam has ceased being a priority. The man cut the bandwidth so we were having issues.
Might test drive tomorrow.
SUA, low lift, low, stock steering, no oil pan/steering contact as with high steer, and it uses the 44 as it ought to be from the factory.
Steve did his homework and we are recreating the front of a YJ.

Did you enjoy the music? That was Brent calling.
It's coming along. The IFS box is out and I had an FJ-62 box with a forward FJ-80 arm overnighted from Man-A-Fre.
It's all on and the inverted Y steering is slick.
My ISP seems to have shut down the webcam. I guess they did not like all the band width.

EDIT: I see the pic on the webcam site. WOW, that looks awesome. When the bumper is on and the springs flex a little it looks like it will be perfect. Well done, doing your homework pays off

It's done.
We have to bleed the brakes, refill the radiator, refill the power steering system, adjust the steering stops and then it will be ready to go down the road.
We are done for today. Steve has family stuff and we are all pretty shot on the whole thing. Brent went home at midday.
All told, we have been working 12 to 14 hours a day with barely a break for lunch since Wednesday. There are probably more than 135 man hours in this project so far and Steve has to wrap the rest himself.
Right now it sits a little tall, but still well under the 6" min up til now. With time and flexing, the springs will drop to the target 3.5"
I am sorry to those who stopped by and felt shooed away. I did not mean to be rude or short, we were just trying to get as much done as possible.
This is only the tip of the ice berg. A lot of work is going to need to be tackled before it has 4wd again.
I will write more when my hands ache less, I have eaten and there is less cynicism.

No, it is done. It will be in a wheeling state with a driveshaft. The solid axle is swapped.
We did this slow and right. The frame is braced, the box is sleeved, the castor and pinion angles are within reason.
There will be pics in a couple hours.
This is not something that you just stumble into on the weekend and make nice. It takes uber time and uber work to make it good and not hacked.
85% of the readers think a solid axle is the only solution. Less than 10% will ever have one and likely less than 10% of that will actually wheel the solid axle hard enough to have made it worth while.

I'm waiting on the pics...
You know what I meant by "done" as once you get one thing "done" you find something else to "do". I'm sure you guys did it right, but there will still need to be some "tweaking" done...
The important thing is did you have fun?![drink](https://www.yotatech.com/forums/images/smilies/drink.gif)
