Supercharger: Torque specs
Ha Everybody,
Happy New Year! I bought a supercharger about a month ago, and I'm finally getting around to installing it this weekend. I read thru the installation manual that TRD supplied with the kit and too my surprise, they don't have the torgue specs for the following Items: Bolts holding the throttle body to supercharger,
bolts holding the supercharger to the intake manifold and nut on the water pump housing. TRD installation book is almost a complete installation manual if they only included the all torque specs. The manual says to refer to Toyota repair manual for torque specs, but I don't have one.. Can anyone help with the torque specs for items mention above? That will help a lot..
Thanks Guys/Gals. Oh, one other question, do I need to put loctite on all the bolts, nuts that I put back in place? I'm excited to feel the difference in power. Mike (2001 4runner)

Per my 2000 manual:
throttle body: 18 N-m, 180 kgf-cm, 13 ft-lb
intake manifold: 18 N-m, 180 kgf-cm, 13 ft-lb
water pump housing: 20 N-m, 200 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lb
As I recall, there were instructions to put loctite on only a couple of bolts so thats what I did. I don't remember seeing evidence any of the others had anything on the threads during removal.

Alanh,
You're the best! Thanks for the torque specs. You've saved me time and money. Now, I can focus on installing the supercharger.
I'll keep you posted on the transformation. Mike

Gen II (Gray supercharger) Torque Specs
I have a 2nd Gen M62 (Gray TRD) Supercharger and was wondering if anyone has the torque specs for the EX Screws that hold the supercharger to the plenum manifold.
I recently removed the supercharger for it's oil change and wanted to clean and reseal everything to make sure eveything is perfect before installing the 2.2" URD Pulley and 7th injector kit.
Thanks
