Do yourself a favor and rent a sawzall. The angles may be a little odd but its soooooooo much easier. About 5 minutes each side with the sawzall compared to hours with a hacksaw. Just finished and I must say...I am impressed.

Just an update. I did the fronts last weekend. Wasn't too bad. Still took 4 hours or so.
I did the rears tonight. I thought that it would only take an hour, at the max. Nope. 3 hours. The main hang ups were the nuts on top of the shock. The passenger side wasn't too bad, but the driver's side was TOUGH to get to. I did sawzall both sides off (which was tough to get a good angle on), but I still had to put the new shocks on. Other than that, it was pretty straight forward.
Oh, I guess it didn't help that it was 20 degrees outside. I think I caught a cold...

Shock Obsorbers
Hi, I'm here in Canada and looking for Japanese parts for my 1992 land cruiser 80's series. Do you know the model # for ordering new shock obsorbers for this vehicle?
thanks,
Jo-Anne
