RS3000 Alarm Has No Power

Hello everyone,

This is my first post here as I just purchased a 1997 4Runner SR5 4x4 with 200k miles on it two weeks ago. It was purchased for a great price and is completely rust free but does need some TLC. Over the past two weeks I have changed a ton of parts and installed several items such as a new radiator with new hoses, B&M trans cooler, front & rear sway bar bushings, lower ball joints, new tires, LED gauge lights, changed the oil, trans fluid, and diff. gear oil, greased the axles, and the list goes on and on. I have new Wet Okole seat covers on the way and just got new pro comp es9000 shocks and have OME 881/980 springs on the way waiting to be installed as the old shocks and springs are stock. If there is anything that anyone thinks I may have missed, please let me know as it is a DD but will be taken off the road on occasion.

Now, the alarm issue. It had an aftermarket alarm on it, a piece of crap autopage, which I removed. I have found the rs3000 alarm box under the seat but the LED security light in the center console will not light up when I try to program it. I am thinking the previous owner disabled the factory alarm, but do not see anything where this would be done. So, to all the pros out there, How or where are the most common places that the factory RS3000 alarm would be disabled? I have searched for wiring diagrams for it, but have come up empty. If this doesn't work, I guess I will have to purchase a new aftermarket alarm. Thanks!

Here's the installation guide for the RS3200, I know it's a different system that the RS3000, but maybe there are some similarities that can help track down where the alarm might have been disabled.
