STALLED IN A SITUATION: If you have the clutch start cancel button it can be handy. When you're going over big obstacles you don't want to roll back if you stall. So leave the truck in gear and hit the "clutch start cancel" button. Turn the key and allow the starter gear to move the truck a bit while the engine starts again. Then you're off again moving over the obstacle without having to engage the clutch.

On my old 86 yoter I taught my X how to use clutch start cancel. She forgot to take it out of gear and my truck ended up smashing into the back of my stepdad's truck. Broke one of my KC lights and dented in his tailgate...

Yea i use my clutch start cancel when im adjusting things in my engine where it needs to be on and off frequently. i used it on a hill once just to see if it worked but im really good with the clutch on steep surfaces so it doesnt see much use, though that may change soon since my POS stock clutch is starting to slip even though the plate still has plenty of meat

I used the button at every stop sign and green light for almost a month when i was in college and couldn't afford a 12$ slave cylinder. I love that button. I've had to twist wires on the clutch pepal sensor on several other trucks to do the same thing. Hard on all kind of stuff but you got to do what you got to do to get where you want to go!

that "starting on a steep hill or obstacle trick" is sweet, i'm def gunna have to try that. other than being to lazy to put in the clutch, the only other time i used it is when my pickup's clutch wouldn't disengage and i had to start my truck in gear at stop lights on my way home.
