3rd cyl misfire code
I got a 3rd cyl misfire code Which cyl is the 3rd cyl so I can check the plugs and wires??? The boot on the plug on the driver's side closest to the firewall was loose...I'm wondering if that might have made a bad connection and killed the wire....I seemed to have misplaced my 4Runner manuals....
I'm hoping I just need plugs and wired...maybe injector cleaning
I also got a "system running lean" code...but believe that was due to a split hose (that was going to the boost gauge)
Thanks in advance,

A vacuum leak can cause a misfire code to appear, FYI. But, to answer your question about which cylinder is which, #3 is the middle cylinder on the Passenger side.
The cylinders are laid out like so:
--(Firewall)--
5 --------- 6
3 --------- 4
1 --------- 2
--(Radiator)--
Hope this helps

-= UPDATE =-
I replaced the split hose....replace the spark plugs (Thanks Gadget!) and cleaned the MAF and it drives fine now
The plugs were the stock style platinum, now they are Denso 2 step colder plugs (from Gadget)...and I dont think I have EVER cleaned the MAF (and I have 133k miles now)
Anywayz...all is well in supercharger 4runner land now
