where to get dipstick tube adapter for 3.4 engine

Im trying to find the adapter fitting that presses in the block to move my oil dipstick to the side of the 3.4 engine. I've called a few dealers and no one can find it or really knows what im talking about. Anybody have a part number or place to get it from.

I'm pretty sure the only way to make that work would be to do the SAS 2.7L oil pan conversion. But maybe you can get away with just using the dipstick + dipstick tube + dipstick union from a 2.7L. The 2.7L dipstick union playing the role of your so called dipstick tube adapter, which doesn't actually exist.

BTW, you're lucky I could figure out what you're talking about. Because even after a pretty exhaustive search, I couldn't find any mention of anyone ever doing it by use of an adapter. Or rather doing it with the use of just the 2.7L dipstick union. Which, I suppose if you still wanted the part # for, I could easily find for you. No guarantee it will even work without the other parts I mentioned. But it might...I guess.

Your turn...

You need the tube and dip stick for 96T100. Go to the dealer and ask for those parts.

I would assume that he'd also need the dipstick tube union and the dipstick tube o ring from a 96 T100 too. And the bolt for the tube as well(if no substitute can be readily found). Maybe those parts are swappable(as in he already has them)...I don't know. Just in case...

5 parts total, part numbers below.

11452 GUIDE, OIL LEVEL GAGE
11452-62060 1994.08- 5VZFE

11452B RING, O(FOR OIL LEVEL GAGE GUIDE)
96721-19010 1994.08- 5VZFE

11452C UNION(FOR OIL LEVEL GAGE GUIDE)
90405-10033 1994.08- 5VZFE

15301 GAGE SUB-ASSY, OIL LEVEL
15301-62060 1994.08- 5VZFE

BOLT, W/WASHER
91621-60614

Consider my first post a bump.(Shows what I know about a 5VZ-FE...DOH!)

And thanks anthony1 for clearing that up.

These are the parts I used:
  • 15301-62060 Dipstick
  • 11452-62060 Dipstick Guide
  • 90405-10033 Dipstick Union
  • 96721-19010 Dipstick Union O-Ring
  • 12101-65012 Oil Pan
  • 15104-62070 oil pickup tube

All for a 3.L T100 4x4. It wouldn't hurt to double check that those are the correct part numbers. This is of course assuming you're still running IFS, SAS would be a whole other set of parts.

Ok thanks for the diagram and numbers. 90405-10033 Dipstick Union is what i was looking for. I've got a 94 3.0 truck which i was going to use the oil pan, pickup tube, dipstick and dipstick guide. From what i see that part number for the dipstick union is the same for a 3.4 and 3.0 motor. Is this correct with mud Hippy's numbers being from 96 t100 and sacRunner from 3.0 T100 4x4.

Dipstick. From 3.0 truck
Dipstick guide From 3.0 truck
Dipstick union Need part number 90405-10033
Dipstick union 0 Ring Need part number 96721-19010
Oil pan From 3.0 truck
Pickup tube From 3.0 truck

I used the fitting from my 3.0. The o ring will probably be stiff, and it needs replaced.

4runner T100 3.4 engine swap

Hello. In same siuation. Engine blew in my T100 and 4Runner engine installed with the T100 oil pan on it. I know I need the dipstick, guide tube, and union....I shouldn't need the pickup tube though or do I? I mean, I've been driving it a year now so if it wasn't picking up the oil, the engine would have locked up correct? I'm sure the T100 and 4Runner pickup tubes are different because of the huge difference in oil pans and location of dipstick tube but if they didn't put the pickup tube as well as the oil pan off the T100 engine on the 4Runner engine then the engine would not have fit because of oil pan and I wouldn't have any oil circulating right? Thanks for any assistance with this.
