3.4 Swap: What parts to keep from my 3.0
Alright I'm about to venture into the 3.4 swap, my question is what all do I need off the 3.0 motor? I'm trying to gather more money and have a guy that wants my motor and computer, I plan on getting a wire harness made for the truck and making a custom gauge cluster, if any of that makes since..

Nothing, almost that is. There are very few parts from a 3VZ-E that would work in/on a 5VZ-FE. The only ones I can think of off-hand are a few internal components(crankshaft, main bearings, thrust bearings), and the hydraulic timing belt tensioner, freeze plugs, and motor mounts externally. AFAIK.

3.0 wiring harness is useless.
Like I said, read some of the big threads in the 3.4 swap section here.
Everything is there. See what folks have done.
It's not like bolting on a lift kit, you need a clue how stuff works and why.

Found this
5VZ-FE V6 complete with all accessories (PS pump, AC compressor, alternator) and unmolested (uncut) engine wiring harness as it plugs into the computer and dashboard wiring harness.
Exhaust crossover pipe (needed for the flanges only)
ECU
Igniter assembly
Evaporative canister (optional)
Evap VSV
Intake system- tubing, air box, air filter
Air flow meter
Flywheel with mounting hardware
Starter
From 3V-ZE (3.0L) engine:˟˟˟
Motor mounts (part that bolts to block)
Oil Pan
Oil pan baffle
Oil pressure sender
Throttle cable
Banjo fitting from power steering pump
Fan
Fan shroud
Radiator
2 plugs from the end of the engine wiring harness that plug in to the dashboard wiring harness
But I wouldn't need the 2 plugs would I? Since I'm just making my own gauge cluster?
