headlights/reverse lights kill engine

i have a 94 t100. i have found that whenever i turn on the headlights the truck automatically dies and if i put it in reverse the same thing happens. I have also noticed that the RPM gauge bounces if i put the blinkers or flashers on. Thanks for any help

sounds like your alternator or battery arent supply enough juice, and those lights pull enough amps away from the coil to kill the motor. check your battery first then alternator

Could be a grounding problem. Check and clean the cab grounds as a starting point.

Thanks turns out that it was a bad ground. There was corrosion on one of the wires in the cab. Thanks again
