What happened to Sea 2 Sky tuning??
Doing some digging on 5vz-fe performance, i discovered a company names Sea 2 Sky (S2S) out of vancouver canada that specialized in forced induction, custom cams, pistons etc. The owner seems like he was a member here named Weasy2k? What happened to them? Is there anyone like them left that picked up their designs?

Weasy2k/Sea 2 Sky dropped off the map in 08. Who knows what happened to him? I haven't heard anything on the whys or whats of that.
There's plenty of 5VZ-FE performance parts to be had though. The first couple sites that come to my mind are Underdog Racing Development(URD) and LCEngineering.

Heard they went out of business... victim of the recession... if you read through his thread though I seem to recall the name of the machine shop that was doing his mill work on the cams is there and [if they are still around] I think they will still do the work... don't know if you have to send in your cams or they have a core exchange deal... the info will be towards the end of the thread if I remember right...

Well after doing some digging i'm 99.9% sure i found the guy on Facebook. I messaged him, but since we aren't "friends" he probably won't see it in his spam folder. I'm just curious to get his story and honestly, glad the guy wasn't in like a fatal car crash or anything like that. It was just weird, he went from posting regularly on like every toyota board known to the internet until spring 2007 when he just fell off the map. No "Sorry, but have to close my doors" thread/post or anything. It just seemed bizarre to me. It was like trying to find a lost legend lol, by all accounts he was doing some really ground breaking stuff with the 5vz engine. If he had been able to progress, the aftermarket menu for that engine would be double the size it is now.

Johnny (weasy2k) was a middle man for the cams. The cams come from a small business in aldergrove BC. Geoff is the owner and the website is coltcams.com. He is hugely busy with big bulk orders for his cams, but if you're patient he will fit you in. Odds are you will need to supply the stock cams as the toyota cams are just a small fraction of his business. If you can get a few people together it will probably lower the price as well. I've been running these cams for quite awhile and they've been great.

Thanks for posting the info Green.
Here's the full link http://www.coltcams.com/
for guys planning a cummins 4BT swap they say they have a camshaft that will give much better performance... look under the 5.9L Cummins tab.
