My Rav4 L
I finally got the Rav just about wrapped up with a full overhaul including a 15 quart trans flush with RedLine ATF, new Bilstein shocks, transfer case, diff fluid, tune up, brakes, audio system, trailer hitch etc etc etc. The only other thing I want to do is slap a set of Geolander AT/S on it but the GoodYears that came with it are in great shape so it will have to wait! Im getting 27mpg and have had it in some places that I know it wasnt meant to go but it did just fine, as expected, it is a Toyota after all!

Im getting around 27 mpg highway with the cruise set, which is up from about 25 when I first bought it, the biggest difference was with the trans flush, it shifts so much better than before! Around town and back roads Id say Im right around 24 mpg or so.... a lot better than the 15 that my 88 gets!! The Rav is fun to drive for an SUV too, I was looking for a 5 speed but talked myself out of it and am glad I did, though I might be able to get higher MPG with the manual, one issue I have is when Im using cruise it likes to downshift out of OD quick to pull hills, when Im not using cruise I just feather the throttle a little and dont have any issues at all holding 75 mph all day long! Its no 4runner off road but for a daily driver Im loving it!
