Help Diagnosing Starting Issue?
Hey Folks,
This might be an easy diagnosis but I am new.
My truck has a long crank to start when cold. When it is warm, it won't start on the first try. However, second try it fires up right away.
It also seems to hesitate a bit when going from idle to heavy load (up a hill from a stop) but that might be a different issue.
Things I have done so far,
1. Spark plugs
2. Fuel Filter
3. Engine Timing
4. Air Filter is good
5. Cleaned Throttle Body and replaced gasket
6. New Air intake Boot (mine was in rough shape)
I am wondering if it is injectors. Since Cold starts are easier, the Cold Start Injector might be helping.
