Front ball joints on 95 4runner
one more question i have on here for u all. as you may already know i own a 95 4wd 4runner and when turning sharp the joints make a creaking sound. i was told by a trusted family mechanic that they can't be greased. you just have to go buy new ones. has anyone else had this problem and if you do have to buy new ones what is a reasonable price.
thanks

The stock ones don't have grease fittings, there he is correct, but it is the bumpstops on the lower control arm rubbing the stops on the hubs when you turn all the way or part of the way and hit a bump causing travel, the plastic has just worn off, ignore it because it will not do anything but make noise.

You can apply some grease on them periodically.
It may very well be balljoints - this is a 13 yr old truck after all. I would just get some "name brand" ones from NAPA or wherever - Moog, TRW, 3K, etc
