broken drive shaft
so im new to the site but knew someone might have had the same problem.
So i was out playing today and of course broke something but it wasn't a CV axle, my rear drive shaft twisted in the middle of the shaft not even the yoke went.
On Trailgear and Marlin i have found drive shafts but they say not recommended for street use, think i could get it balanced or .... get a stock shaft?
haha another day another dollar.

Neither Marlin nor TG sell rear driveshafts. They sell long spline slip yokes. Which you can very well use on the street(providing the rig it's installed on is otherwise "streetable").
If you want a stock shaft, be prepared to pay $1000+ from the stealer. Or, for a more affordable option, try finding one on Car-Part.com.

Marlin does offer custom driveshafts and has for a while but they are spendy.

That's what i was thinking maybe just some DOM tubing?
I was looking at Rockstomper drive shafts they look pretty tough, think a custom one would be just as tough?
also... do you think balancing a rockstomper would make it fine for my DD

Hey thanks again man. I would really like one of the marlin DS now seeing how easy the stock ones twist when they get dented or something... Im hoping this stock one will last a decent time.
I'm coming to a realization that a grinder and a MIG welder might be the best option.
