87 4runner transmission question

Hi Im a newbie too yotas just bought a 87 for 500$ said it wouldnt stay running and transmisson wont pull. so did some searching on this fourm and found the blown fuse under the dash for it dieing got that fixed but the tranny is another question its a automatic there is no sound rpm or change or anything forward or reverse wont even try to engage transmission fluid is red not burnt . Can someone please start me it the rite direction on what it could be?

forgot ot add the charge lite and trans temp lite is own seeing how i bought it and didnt gget any back ground and didnt hav a battery so all codes would be gone too.

I Might have just got a hail marry it's missing the torque converter bolts! Does anyone no the metric size I need and proper length?
