In the market for a new runner, just a quick question.
Sup guys, quick question.
I've been in the market for a 4Runner for a while now. I owned a 1981 Toyota 4x4 SR5 pickup (22R) and a 1991 Toyota base pickup (22R-E), however i'll be moving to Montana soon and i need something a little newer and warmer.
Montana winters get down to the negative teens, and locals tell me that the ice is deadly. I reckon I will be doing more daily driving then offroad, but who knows. I do my fair share of snowsports, camping, and fishing.
Keeping in mind the climate and terrain of MT, reliability, current gas prices, ect. ect. what would be a better fit for me? 1996-2000 3rd Gen, or the 2006-2009 4th gen?
My budget is nothing past 16k but I might make exceptions. I do NOT feel like spending $40K on the newer models, as sexy as they may be.
Thank you
