Aftermarket stereo 05 4runner
I bought an aftermarket stereo for my 05 4runner that has blutooth, aux input, usb input. Good pioneer stereo and speakers however my FM tuner is producing a little bit of static that it did not do with the old factory radio. It was explained to me that the factory radio has 2 inputs for FM antenna's and that all aftermarket radios have 1 input therefore, that could be the problem with signal strength. Spent $600 on the entire stereo system and want it to work properly. Is there anything I can do or suggest to the installer before taking my vehicle back?

Yes, you can buy an adapter to allow you to connect both antennas. There are two adapters you need, one is a y cable, and the other adapts from a small plug to a large.
Y-adapter: Metra 40-UV43
Small to large adapter: Metra 40-GM10
Here's a thread with more info if you're interested.
