don't feel bad, i knew the risk when i decided to drive it home. i also knew what was probably gonna happen when the knock started getting worse. i don't plan on re-using the block so its not hat big of a deal, just means the only value the block has now is scrap metal and not as a re-build core. hopefully the head was not damaged and some other parts are in re-sell condition to help fund the swap,

thank's for posting pics of my sadly it still ran till i tore it down. i had to drive mine for the tow truck the machine shop guy told me to just replace the head. i'd already been machined to much and the heat killed it before the block blew open

LOL if anyone else ever has a nicer more expensive truck with full coverage insurance and your Toyota listed as your primary vehicle too keep insurance rates down, and your Toyota blows up. don't call the insurance company and try to drop the insurance on your Toyota. first trying to drop my insurance on the Toyota i lost my mufti car discount, so my rates actually increased, so we added it back on with 3k mile a year coverage, and then they switched my gmc searia 2500hd to my primary vehicle and my insurance rates STILL went up 30 bucks a month FTW. I think ill call them in a week or two and tell them i got the Toyota running again.
