Now on the flip side we see guys running big horse power/torque (V8 swaps, Swampthingisms, etc) and huge tires and using the stock gear driven Toyota t-case without any issues.
I wouldn't think a Dana would be much of an improvement unless you went with the 300 (and that thing is worth it's weight in freaking gold). For that matter you'd get better compound low by adding a second stock Toy box, not to mention the cool factor of having dual cases and the money you'd not spend on the 300.
Just some thoughts.
