Aaaargh! Stripped camshaft bearing bolts
#21
Over tightened
So I goofed up working late into the early morning hours
I turned the camshaft mounting bolts apx 1 full turn clockwise
tightening, them instead of loosening them.
I did this for the first 5 bolts from back to front until one broke
which I was able to get out with vice grips.
I have re tightened the bolts to the 84 in/lbs torque repair book indicates,
they hold and feel snug, but my question is whether I should do
something more to make sure nothing bust loose while driving?
2015 Ram 3.6L - I believe its an aluminum block/mount

Second, I'd probably put the wrenches down until learning lefty loosey righty tighty.
Third, buy an inch/lb torque wrench.
