22RE Timing Cover Bolt Length

22RE Timing Cover Bolt Length
So I've finally started putting my rebuilt 22RE back together. Turns out dad lost a handful of timing cover + oil/water pump bolts. Oops. Can anybody give me some specific lengths and thread pitches so I can get this thing put back together?
Also he lost the oil pump drive gear (slides on the crank, right? I wouldnt know, he lost it before I saw it )
Anybody happen to have a spare one of these they'd be willing to sell, or a place to buy one cheap? Its really frustrating having all these parts in my garage but not being able to put it all together.

Can't help you with the drive gear. It does go on the crankshaft, though.
Here's a chart. It doesn't have thread pitches, but the FSM does.
(Note: the top right corner bolt will need to be atleast 3" or longer for the bracket that mounts there. It was on my '86, anyway.

Figure out which bolts you're missing and you should be able to figure out what the shank sizes and thread pitches are. I, and I'm sure others, can/will help you with that, if you need it.

The only difference in lengths I found from the chart was on the alternator bracket, though. Hmm...maybe there are differences in years.
Worse comes to worse....assess what you have and you can run to an O'Reilly or equivalent and match up the rest with some generic bolts. For example, if you have even one oil pump bolt, the others needed will have atleast the same thread pitch. The lengths needed can be positively determined by placing the oil pump on the timing cover and adding that depth measurement to the depth of the corresponding threaded hole in the block.
I agree with Dude, though. Best bet is salvage. YT has a marketplace, and someone is usually parting out.

I got a really good print off of the timing cover and the location of all the bolts with the part #'s for each bolt from the dealership today, I will post it as soon as I can upload it on the computer!
