Question Trouble with my 79/83 20/22r hybrid

I have tried about all the suggestions I have found tweaking the everything I can from lash settings, timing, carb jets and mix but to no major win. The engine still hits a wall and falls on its face.

per my last post i have somewhat resolved my 3K rpm problem with the carb and upping the octane to a roughly ⅔ 88 ⅓ 100 mix and the engine responded well but 4th gear struggles to hit 4k and 5th not a chance always hitting a fake governor no matter the gear @ 60 mph. The compression went up a little so im just monitoring it hoping for the best could just be my zero patience. No leaks after the air test suggested

jets: fuel 150/155
idle 60/70
air 190/200
pump jet 55

i just ordered the sync link kit for my 32/36 but I still have the feeling that wont help my high end struggles at all.

any other suggestions on what some problems or things i could look at?

Just a couple thoughts…any chance you might have a fuel delivery issue? Fuel regulator working properly? Is this a genuine 32/36 or Chinese?

its a weber bought from LCE and a sync link from pierce manifolds the regulator is running 2.5-3lbs at least at idle, no way of knowing if it drops when at 50 mph

the only things ive been able to think is maybe the vacuum advance is too far or not enough for the combo i have on the LCE street dizzy. i havnt heard anything back from them on whether to switch the it from front to back or to just plug it and not much info on that matter on the forums ive found.

I do know its running super rich right now and im still trying to find the best jet combo for the sync link kit, MPG isnt what im after its performance
