Gas pedal mods?
ive done alot of searching and nuttin!! has anybody attempted to put a newer gas pedal assy in a 1st gen truck?? like from an 90s p/u,mine has all the linkage but the P/O lost the pedal during the restoration.

You mean like just the pedel right? Or throttle mods? Just cerious, because theres both.

yep,ive got everything but the pedal.just lookin at pics it looks like you could use the newer style thats not bolted to the floor.

I tried to install a later model Toyota pedal assembly and an after market unit but ran into throttle binding problems on both so I went back to the stock peddle and had a cover made. Check my album out-"MY TOY" and you will see what I ended up with.

well,ended up getting bored with looking for one so i made a new one out of aluminum.ill try to take some pics this weekend.,

milled out a piece of nylon,drilled,tapped,cut,and there you have it!! too many giant pics...sorry.
