Bushwacker Fender Flares (1st Gen Pickup)

Are these things still made? Anyone know where I might be able to locate a set?

I think they are still made. I have seen them advertised here and there. Check out some 4x4 venders, All Pro, Trail Gear, LC Engineering, and others-I think you will find them. Good luck in your search and I hope I helped you a little bit.

You have to find one of their dealers or supply houses that have old stock. I just got parts for my 25+ year old Recaro seats from one of Recaro's dealers because Recaro does not produce the parts anymore.

bushwacker hasnt made them for many years .. long discontinued
but as suncomb1 says , get on the phone !! . maybe check some of the wreckers for used as well .. but even first gens in wreckers are sparce

we have fiberglass flared "hi clearance" fenders for the first gens .. also currently making a rear "bolt on" flare to match the front http://www.toyotafiberglass.com

That's what I feared. I think I'm going to have to get in touch with you here soon slacker.. My front fenders could use some lovin' and I couldn't ignore the rear..

That is good advice! Far too often I've given up hope just because it was listed as discontinued when I could have continued my search for NOS parts.

I just saw Bushwacker Fender Flares listed on Aftermarket Performance Parts.com They list flares for 1979-1983 Toyota Trucks. I hope this info helps you find a set.

$400, not bad
it will be interesting to see if they actually have it because when you search bushwacker's site you get this message "No Products found Matching your request."

Apologies for the late chime in.. Since these flares are the ones I’ve been looking for, & no longer made. I was wondering if anyone had successfully installed a Bushwacker fender flare thats from a newer year generation model pickup, or even a different brand of pickup that’s compatible by wheel well dimensions etc..?
I’ve seem some pre 84 pickups online/Pinterest/YouTube/etc.. with 38-40 inch tires and am wondering how they have those huge flares on them.
Something I’ve been trying to research and find answers to; since it’s harder to find off-road stuff for our generation trucks. Thanks!
