Thanks all, i appreciate it. As for the shackle angle, its just fine for the intended use for this truck, which is getting me around in the snow

Meh who knows, i dont theorycraft about what everyone thinks works, this thing does what i need it to do, it gets me where i need to go when everyone else is snowed in, have no idea what works on the internet, but here in WV my shackles and wide tires dont get stuck in the snow..

Some here do more than web wheel. My 12.5" slide alot in less than 6-8" of snow. When I air down to 5 psi in really deep stuff with double low I can float better than big rigs, but a little throttle will dig me down to the frame quickly, that's why I rock a winch. I wouldn't mention something I read without stating I read it.
Was turning around and gave too much gas the MTs did what they are designed to do and dug in.
Shadey side of the mountain in spring, fell through.
That is an out house just for referrence of what I mean when I say deep.
Don't have many pics of the light snows with the truck.

lol bobbed for snow travel. well thats a first. we bob them around here so when you crawling over rocks so you don't come down on your over hang.
the truck looks really good man. i like the look its got and it looks like it can do its job very well.

nice looking rig. kind of looks like one of the mini RC trucks.
i would defiantly redo the rear spring perch. as for tires deal with what you have and plan for the future. i personally like tall skinny tires for offroad and snow (yes we do get deep snow in az out of the desert at 7700 ft).

To be honest the bob was more structural then useful, i know it wont help me since i could really care less about departure angle, but the backend of this bed was rusted so bad that cutting it all out was the only option, so i bobbed it, and no more rust
