22r timing
Okay so I have a 83 SR5 4x4 with a 22r in it, got the motor in and running. Trying to time it, does anyone know what the timing should be set at? How many degrees? which timing mark? Thanks in advance.

Do it by ear. Adjust to where it sounds best for you. 5 or 8 would be good. Just remember the more advanced the timing the more efficent your engine runs... but also eats fuel a bit more and causes a bit more heat.... your call.
