Oh ok, I see it now. Is it threaded? If you look at my photo again, off to the right, in the middle, there is an allen screwed cap. If you know the measurement of the hole size, I may have an extra one from my LCE kit that I can send you. Let me know.

yeh its threaded its pretty big all the little plugs for the holes they gave me are to small for it I mean I assume it has to be blocked off ..they also sent me the wrong water block off plate for the bottom of my intake they sent me a 8 bolt I need a 9 bolt so now my trucks torn apart over the long weekend and im second guessing a lot of what they sent me ..not impressed so far the forgot my throttle cable too..the hole is about 3/4 of an inch .I don't know how different 20rs are from 22r but I told em that over the phone.

If you bought the plug kit from LCE, the biggest they send is the 3/8th plug. It looks like your hole is bigger than that. Is your barb for the heater hose on the bottom of your intake? If not, maybe that hole is for your heater hose seeing that is a bigger fitting?

yeh theres no barb fitting on the bottom could be heater hose I dunno the hose went straight to the backside of the choke on the carb about a 4 in hose ..yeh the hole is 3/4 that's why I was kinda curious there aint nothing in the kit for that.it wasn't mentioned in any write ups ive read.

well the 90 barb fitting don't fit.good idea though.i don't know if I should just plug it or if its necessary for something ..like I said the hose comeing out of the fitting that was on there went to the choke on the back of the stock carb.im stumped ive been lookin through everything but most people have 22r's and I think the intake must be different.there aint a lot of info on 20r's from 1980.it is a 9 bolt water block off plate on the bottom ...I don't know if this is an unusual intake?

Are you putting a weber carb on it since your desmogging it? If so, just plug it. I am not sure, but I think that controlled the electric choke. It would tell the choke that your engine was warming up and close the choke.

What did you do here? I have the same intake. I am not getting LC kit but was thinking block line on top of intake (choke water input) then block line on passenger side back of water pump (choke water return) Could also run heater hose from top of intake to back of passenger side water pump (currently what I am doing)
Return heater hose that came from firewall (heater control valve) went to plate in center of intake on head from factory. this is all speculative from schematics from EPC

Hey bud I just put the thing back in that came out of it..it was a weird metric size bolt I couldnt find.even at fasten all .so I called up lce they said put that thing back in there and put rubber vaccuum line plugs on it.well I did that.and a week later those blew off and it poured coolant everywhere. So I crimped the two ports that come off it and welded em shut.no leaks runs fine.

Thank you! I actually found a plug that would fit that coolant hole. Not sure where it came from but it threads into that hole no problem. I am going to use the plug there, and rubber heater cap on the pipe that terminates behind water pump.

this intake was only cast a couple years if that. no one knows how to handle it. but heater intake line needs to either come off that big pipe on top of intake or the pipe behind intake. the pipe in passenger backside of water pump is a return line NOT an input line. water flows into heater core from passenger side and returns drivers side.
