Wagon Wheel and surrounding area (Echo Range) 6-3-09
So, Me, Jonnyboy, and my buddy mike went out to wagon wheel and some interesting hill climbs. We found a spot where there was 11 mines on a hill side. Found another mine, went into it about 25-30 feet, saw daylight, so Jonny Started walking up to the right, about halfway up there was a loud boom, we thought it was him, he said, nope, then i found out how fast i could run. That particular mine was wierd, had a strange feeling to it, not like the rest of them we have gone into around here. But onto the pics. there are no pics of the mines, if a BLM guy was trolling here, they would be closed up.
first little rock of the day
Rock 1, Jonny 0
Everyone went around this one exept me.
And heres why.
took about 30 minutes just to drive up the mountain goat road that led to here.
Camera was to quick.
Its not his daily driver.
Mine is.
Pic at charlies place.

So toyodiy lists the taillights as the same for my '90 and your '94, but ebay seems to list them as separate '90-'92 and '93-'95. Weird, anyhow, best price I've found on ebay is around $32.
And really, I don't consider that a win for the rock...it's just the lens, the body already had a dent back there. I refuse to accept defeat!

Here is a couple pics of the new truck, it was dark out when i got her home and finished cleaning her up. She is an 84 SR5, 22R, Clean as all hell interior. The front springs a shot, the arch is actually reversed, so a mild 3 inch lift is in order. I have always wanted an 84-85 yota, it was never possible. Then one of our customers was in a couple months back and wantted to sell it, to me only. One of my co-workers had cash ready to go for a new toyota, offered it to him, he said it was only for sale to me. So, my little brother just moved here, he cant be out in the heat (doctor messed up his original surgery for correction of Chiari Malformation) so he wouldnt go out wheeling or want to drive his 87 in the daytime hours due to not having a/c. We talked and decided He really needed the 4Runner due to its low vibration and a/c, so he gave me his 87 for my fiance and bought me the 84. It runs tops, a/c is ice cold, clutch perfect, shifts smooth, only issue is the front springs. well, tell me what you all think. Oh, she's the one on the right,

I think I can't wait to snatch that front axle right out from under it in your sleep! Kiddin, Can't wait to help ya dual case it, lift it, armor it, swap in a 383 stroker, and then go through the tedious and boring part of wheeling it to test all the upgrades.

Jonny- 383? i would never soil my toyota with chevy parts! lol. First thing to come out is the damn racing seats in it, the are waaaaaaaayyyyyyyy to tall for my 6'2" height, im going to swap the stock seats out of cassies 87 cause she can barely see over the dash, and put the stockers in mine.
Lumpy- thats nothing, we grew up in Fawnskin, and on certain trails i cannot divulge to the general public, he has put trucks on their side and then driven them back to wheels and home (including my dads old 79 GMC, that was a bad day for us when we got home).

Actually its a small trail/huge off road area, less than 10 minutes from my house. Its kinda the spot to test new parts or just play/BBQ for a few hours. The trails are endless, everything from high speed baja to crawling. The Mojave 200 took place out there a little while ago.

And forfiet all that horsepower and torque my 22R has? i think not. First thing in order is new springs, the front ones on the truck have reversed arch (negative spring for you nit-pickers out there)! i dont want much lift though. Maybe 3 inches at the most.

didnt feel the need to start a new thread
well, got the 3 inch on up front. I went with procomp due to money constraints. I have heard nothing but they are to stiff, you wont be happy. but this was coming from people who arent running them. All i can say is WOW! these thing are completely smooth as butter, i love them, it almost floats! ask jonnyboy about ridgecrest blvd. and norma streets, they are screwed bad, havent been re-paved since i was in grade school, 16 years ago! those streets were my shakedown this evening, it was smoother than 4runner!!! sorry, im just so happy and anxious! cant wait till sunday, we are going back to wagon wheel, first time i will have her in some rocks! I LOVE THIS TRUCK!!!
